Impact Report
Between Friends is thrilled to share highlights of how our mission played out in the past fiscal year with our FY24 Impact Report. We are dedicated to preventing domestic violence and ending the cycle of abuse by equipping our communities with the tools necessary for everyone to feel safe and equal in their relationships.
Between July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024 our talented team worked with survivors as they took the first steps in their healing journey and educated community members who further our vision of a society free from domestic violence and abuse.In the past fiscal year, we:
- Helped 2,179 callers to our crisis phone line
- Supported 560 people as they navigated the justic system through court advocacy
- Provided counseling to 189 adults and 27 children
- Educated 6,143 students about healthy relationships and teen dating violence across 35 Chicago Public Schools through REACH
- Trained 1,574 community members on domestic violence and reached 1,660 additional community members through awareness raising.
