An Evening With Friends (With Tasha!): Get Tickets Now!

Join us online on Thursday, June 17 at 7pm for an event dedicated to celebrating and supporting our work to uplift survivors and end domestic violence. An Evening With Friends 2021 will feature music from Chicago’s own Tasha, and we will be honoring some of Between Friends’ biggest supporters. There will be a raffle draw including prizes from the Chicago Architecture Foundation, Revolution Brewing, Gearhead Outfitters and more!

We are delighted to include a performance from special musical guest Tasha at An Evening With Friends.

After working with local racial justice organization Black Youth Project 100 and spending time on the front lines at protests around the city, Tasha returned to the guitar to explore the ways music can be a powerful force for healing. Her songs offer comfort and respite for those who, like her, dare to imagine a thriving future. Her debut album Alone At Last was acclaimed by critics and fans alike. Pitchfork says: “Tasha makes wondrous, gentle soul that advocates for self-care – she reimagines the world as loving and safe while exploring the hurt and anguish inherent in navigating our society, especially as a queer Black woman.”

An Evening With Friends will once again be emceed by NBC Chicago’s Chris Hush, our master of ceremonies at our last in-person annual event in 2019. Plus, purchase a VIP ticket to watch an exclusive cocktail mixing demonstration (with or without alcohol!) courtesy of mixologist Mark Phelan from 16 On Center!

If you have any questions about the event, please send them to Joe Macaré at joem@betweenfriendschicago.org.
